In the past, at specific customer request, we've helped to design and create custom pipe support designs. Whether it was a basic saddle-type support to simply hold a pipe in place, a form that made the base plate the same as the head to make it reversible and similar requests have met with great success over the years. We've had similar excellent results when using our standard ductile iron head with a 304ss or 316ss riser tube, base plate, threaded rod and heavy hex nut. The high-quality ductile iron head we use is virtually indestructible, especially when compared to steel or a fabricated head.
We've had excellent results even when using it in corrosive environments, provided that a tar seal coat is applied. We also offer a wide range of other coatings, including standard rust-proof primers and cold sprayed galvanized coatings. We've made a number of custom modifications, including changing out our standard zinc electro galvanized threaded rod and heavy hex huts and our plain steel schedule 40 riser and 1/4" thick 6" by 6" or 8" by 8" baseplate for other materials to meet our customers' needs. Our saddle-type stand heads are created from 1/2" thick steel with heavy duty riser clamps that are rolled by others and then welded to our adjustable nut, making field adjustment simple.
However, there are a few things that we can't do without reengineering the entire system. We're not able to currently provide job specific engineering, statistics on thrust, weight, or ratings that convey similar information. Though we can help you find a great solution for situations such as these, it doesn't fall within the range of the customized Redi-Jack system. We don't offer exotic metals or marine-grade stainless steels, we simply offer a reasonably-priced, high-quality option in pipe supports that can be customized to meet your needs without breaking the bank.
